Responsibilities
  • Assist in wildlife conservation efforts within the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve.
  • Participate in fieldwork activities such as habitat monitoring, wildlife tracking, and data collection.
  • Contribute to research projects focused on biodiversity, ecology, and animal behavior.
  • Support community outreach programs aimed at promoting environmental awareness and conservation education.
  • Collaborate with experienced conservationists and researchers to implement sustainable practices.
  • Engage in animal welfare initiatives aimed at ensuring the well-being of wildlife within the reserve.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of an undergraduate or graduate program related to environmental science, wildlife biology, conservation biology, or a related field.
  • Passion for wildlife conservation, environmental sustainability, and community development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in remote field locations.
  • Willingness to adapt to challenging and dynamic work environments.
  • Previous experience in fieldwork, research, or volunteer work related to wildlife conservation is desirable but not required.
