Responsibilities
  • Support project planning, implementation, and monitoring activities under the guidance of experienced staff members.
  • Conduct research on key development issues, trends, and best practices to inform programmatic interventions.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, briefs, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and events to enhance understanding of development challenges and solutions.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support as needed to ensure smooth project operations.
  • Collaborate with team members across different units and departments to foster a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. program, or a recent graduate within one year of graduation.
  • Strong academic background in fields relevant to international development, such as economics, political science, social sciences, environmental studies, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated interest in and commitment to the principles of sustainable development, human rights, and gender equality.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural teams.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of another UN language is an asset.
  • Previous experience in development-related work or volunteer activities is desirable but not required.
