GWK is excited to offer Learnerships through the Youth Employment Service (YES) program. This program is designed to empower young individuals by providing them with practical skills and work experience in the agricultural sector. As a GWK: YES Learnership participant, you will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to meaningful projects that impact our communities.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop skills relevant to the agricultural industry.
- Assist with day-to-day operations across various departments within GWK, including but not limited to crop production, animal husbandry, and retail.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and responsibilities.
- South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Completed Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Passion for agriculture and a desire to pursue a career in the industry.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic work environment.
- Availability to commit to the duration of the learnership program.
