Old Mutual Insure is excited to announce learnership opportunities aimed at unemployed South African youth. Our learnership programs offer an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience while working towards obtaining a QCTO Occupational Certificate in Insurance Claims Assessor NQF Level 4.
Our learnerships combine theoretical knowledge with practical workplace experience, preparing you for a successful career in the insurance industry. You will benefit from structured training and mentorship, enhancing your skills and increasing your employability.
- Insurance Claims Assessor Learnership:
- Learn how to assess and process insurance claims efficiently.
- Gain insight into claims investigation, evaluation, and settlement procedures.
- Develop expertise in managing client interactions and resolving disputes.
- Underwriter Learnership:
- Acquire skills in assessing risks and underwriting insurance policies.
- Understand the principles of risk management and policy evaluation.
- Learn to analyze client information to make informed underwriting decisions.
To be considered for these learnerships, you must meet the following criteria:
- South African Citizen: Applicants must hold South African citizenship.
- Unemployed: Candidates should be currently unemployed.
- Matric Certificate: Possess a Matric Certificate with Mathematics/Mathematics Literacy and at least two languages.
- Post Matric Qualification (Advantageous): A post-matric qualification is beneficial but not required.
- Previous Learnership Registration: Candidates who have previously participated in or are currently registered for a learnership through INSETA are not eligible.
- Study Plans: Applicants must not be studying or planning to study in 2024/2025.
- Work Experience: Less than one year of work experience is preferred.
- Credit & Criminal Record: A clear credit and criminal record is essential.
- Gain valuable practical experience in the insurance sector.
- Receive formal training and mentorship from industry professionals.
- Obtain a QCTO Occupational Certificate: Insurance Claims Assessor NQF4.
